Craig chooses tarpon for his final day on the SeaSquared

Craig Williams, of Alberta Canada, had so much fun tarpon fishing on Sunday, he chose to do the same for his third and final trip aboard SeaSquared Charters.

Eleven-year-old Reason came along today and had a great time watching Craig hook-up, fight and land tarpon after tarpon.  We were fishing with live crabs at Bahia Honda, and the action was pretty good with tarpon rolling on the surface.  During the course of the day, Craig hooked three and landed four tarpon in the 60- to 100-pound range.

Craig and I shared a couple of cold adult beverages at Salty’s Waterfront Grill and got to know each other.  He has an interesting career in the energy industry in Canada, and this was his first trip to the Florida Keys.  He assured me he and his family will most definitely be back soon!
