Father-son fishing adventure in the Florida Keys – It just doesn’t get any better!

Marathon Florida Keys Fishing Report – Captain Chris Johnson, SeaSquared Charters – July 14, 2010

Chris Altman and Geoffrey Thomas, from Kentucky, treated their sons to a Florida Keys vacation.  They came for some male bonding and included a fishing trip with SeaSquared Charters.

The group consisted of Chris and his sons, Andrew, 16, Jacob, 12, and Eric, 10, plus Geoffrey and his boy, Jorden, 11.  It was a blustery day but we managed to dodge the storms and put together a great catch on the reef off Marathon.

The guys caught a slew of snapper – mangroves to 4 pounds and yellowtails up to 20 inches.  A nice keeper black grouper was a bonus after sending back 4 or 5 short ones.  It all added up to a feast fit for kings!

Geoffrey is an accomplished photographer and took some amazing shots.  Click on one of Geoffrey’s pictures (below) to view the entire gallery of a great day of father-son fishing with Captain Chris Johnson and SeaSquared charters!
