Lewis and Tara Snow, from Pueblo West CO, fished with SeaSquared Charters as part of their tour of Florida and the Bahamas.
The Snows landed in Ft. Lauderdale, hit up the Bahamas and then made their way to Marathon for their fishing trip. A little too bumpy to make it out to the reef, we chose to fish in the calmer bay waters where the pair boated seven nice size mangrove snapper.
We then moved in to a spot near the Seven Mile Bridge where Lewis and Tara put the hurt on the porgies. They were flipping them in the boat faster than I could rebait their hooks. In the end, they brought 31 large porgy back to the dock.
From Marathon, they’re heading to Key West for a few days and then over to the Ft. Myers area to end their adventure. I’m packaging, freezing and shipping their fish back home to Colorado for them.
The price of fresh Florida Keys fish in Colorado? Priceless!
