Sailfish for the Hertzog Group

The Hertzog group of fathers and sons, from Maryland, came to the Keys just in time for our winter cool down.

Their first day of fishing was with Capt. Wayne on the channel humps where they got their eating fish – hogfish, porgy, snappers, mackerel and yellowjack.

Day Two was spent with Capt. Jason and Capt. Alex. In challenging conditions with rain showers, 20-plus knot winds and moderately rough seas, they targeted sailfish via kite fishing. The result was 2 hookups with both landed.
