Three generations of anglers

On the day before their Mother’s Day activities, the men of the Porven family from Miami went fishing with SeaSquared Charters.

The crew consisted of Ricardo, his sons Noah (12) and John Paul (9), brother Manny and his son Chris (16) and the patriarch of the family, Dad/Grandad Angel Porven.

The mission was to take a bunch of good-eating fish back home to Miami, so we hit the reef for the snapper and grouper bite.  The guys landed three nice size black grouper up to 15 pounds, a 14-pound mutton snapper and some yellowtail snapper.  Just for kicks, Angel put a toothy four-foot barracuda in the boat too.  That one ended up in my shark bait freezer!

We love having families on the SeaSquared!
