Walt Moss, from Vinton VA, has scheduled quite a few trips with us during his month long vacation in Marathon. Sharks were the target species for our first trip today.
The sharks greeted us with their usual voracious hunger and we set to catching and releasing them with abandon. Walt and Christy landed at least a dozen lemons in about two hours.
They were so aggressive, my deckhand, Jason Bell, decided to play with them by tossing a bait at them and reeling it in just ahead of their toothy jaws …
Just as we did yesterday with the Blake/Anderson group, we moved on to Bahia Honda for some tarpon fishing. There were tons of fish there but, unfortunately, they just wouldn’t bite.
