Family fishing nets good eats!

This crew from Florida went home with plenty of tasty snapper and grouper!

The group consisted of Ray Gordon and his son Kaleb (from Tamarac), Ray’s brother Delroy Gordon and his son Dellano (from Margate) and brothers Omar and McGlaston Scott (from Lehigh Acres).

They booked a full day charter and we went straight to the reef to collect some good eating snapper and grouper in 35 to 75 feet of water.  The first fish in the boat was an 18-pound black grouper and it was full force catching from that point forward.

About six hours into the trip, the guys were tuckered out and had stopped fishing, so we headed back to the dock two hours early.  Their haul included an 18-pound, a 24-pound and a 30-pound black grouper, 14-inch yellowtail snappers, 5-pound mangrove snappers, hogfish and cero mackerel.
