New Englanders enjoy fabulous Florida Keys grouper and snapper fishing

Captain’s Blog – June 4, 2010 – Marathon Florida Keys – New Englanders Phil and David enjoy a day of fishing the Florida Keys reef.

Phil Mathewson from Hancock NH and David Swett from Berwick ME mixed a little fishing with SeaSquared Charters with the business they had to do in Marathon.

I took the guys to the reef to take advantage of the red-hot grouper and snapper bite we’ve been having of late.  The first fish in the boat was a nice black grouper.  They proceded to get their limit of 20- to 22-inch yellowtail snapper before the sharks showed up.
